History

Javascript was designed to be a lightweight, easy to learn that is used to add interactivity to web pages which is developed by Netscape. Today, js is almost used to make modern web pages.

It was invented by Brendan Eich in 1995, initially known as LiveScript then Netscape changes its name to JavaScript. In 2008 the creation of Google's open-source Chrome V8, a high-performance JS engine, provided a crucial turning point for JS.

Ryan Dahl released an open-source, cross-platform environment called Node.js provided a way to run JS code from outside a browser. ECMA makes rules for JS.
